Live: NSW's metropolitan COVID vaccination hubs still open despite flooding - ABC News

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian was asked about how the flooding disaster would impact the rollout of the vaccine program in the state.

She said she was "not concerned". Here's what else she had to say:

"All of our city-based hubs there are still functioning, we appreciate that perhaps for some people depending on where they live in my be difficult for them to access the vaccine.

"As far as we are concerned, our five centres — Nepean , Liverpool, Westmead, St George, and Hornsby — are all up and running.

"In the regions... they are all functioning as well.

"In coastal communities when we had anticipated to set up hubs — they have been delayed, but I'm not overly concerned about that, I think we will be able to catch it up.

"What is a priority for us is not just to getting our quarantine workers vaccinate but also their families [and] that has already started.

"We're still making sure that people can access those services, but again the proviso there is do not live your community or your home if it is not safe to do so.

"But if it is, by all means, get vaccinated, make sure to come forward get tested if you have symptoms."
