US politics live updates: Donald Trump and Joe Biden set to campaign in Georgia as crucial runoff looms - ABC News

Early questions!

I LOVE it when y'all are curious little cats early.

Morning Pete and fellow blogites! Q: I take it Georgia is known for their peaches then? Actual Q: has Trump actually broken a law with what he tried to do on that phone call? Surely their are interference laws or something similar?

-Nick (White Choccy Lobby)

Q: Georgia is known as the Peach State! It's the official state fruit and it produces more peaches than just about any other state in the Union.

Actual Q: The jury is well and truly out on whether any laws were broken and whether any charges could actually be laid over that phone call. NPR has a good look here breaking down some of the curly questions legal experts are debating right now.

Has Trump made any effort to make his rally COVID safe?

-A rally NOW?

The Trump campaign often hands out masks at its events and has hand sanitising stations on the way in, but you can see from the pictures that most people at the events don't wear them. FWIW, when you register to attend the rally you sign up to this little waiver:

"By registering for this event, you understand and expressly acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. In attending the event, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and waive, release, and discharge Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; the Republican National Committee; the host venue; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers from any and all liability under any theory, whether in negligence or otherwise, for any illness or injury."
